Members of our Boston-based team and their families took part in the Boston Brain Tumor 5K Walk this past Sunday, October 26, at DCR Mother’s Rest at Carson Beach in Boston to benefit the National Brain Tumor Society. We are proud to announce that our team, captained by fearless leader Samantha Lunny, raised $2,295!
The National Brain Tumor Society is an organization that is strategically positioned to leverage their collective resources and knowledge to deliver the greatest impact to the brain tumor community. Hosted by the National Brain Tumor Society, the Boston Brain Tumor Walk offered the Boston community the opportunities to honor and remember loved ones, to connect with others interested in the brain tumor cause, and to help to educate the local community on the diverse needs of the brain tumor community.
Overall, the National Brain Tumor Society raised an amazing $578,548.58 from the event. All funds will help the National Brain Tumor Society to advance strategic research and public policy to improve the availability of new and better treatments and to fuel the discovery of a cure.
This is only one of the many events that Knowledgent team members and their families participate in each year as part of Knowledgent Cares, our employee volunteer program. Knowledgent Cares encourages our team members to participate in activities to help raise awareness and funding for the causes that are important to us, our families, and our communities.
