We’re excited to be attending and speaking at the upcoming DAMA Day, happening on Thursday, May 18th at the IBM offices in Manhattan!
Knowledgent Informationist Sam Habib will be presenting at the Data Administration Management Association (DAMA) Day. His session, titled “Data Lakes and Data Warehouse,” will lay the context of Data Management using traditional practices and paint the vision of modern day platforms where Data Lakes and Data Warehouses sometimes complement each other, while also competing with each other.
DAMA Day attendees will learn all about Big Data Integration with its complexities and common challenges of joining and merging large data sets of varying types and structures from multiple sources. They will discover how organizations are successfully implementing Big Data Integration.
Topics that will be covered at the event include Cloud and Hybrid Architecture, Big Data Messaging, Data Lakes & Data Warehouses, Data Pipelines, Data Blending, Data Wrangling, and Data Governance.
Be sure to visit us in the exhibit area to meet some of our Informationists and learn how we improve lives and business through data.
